Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find answers to common questions about our artwork and purchasing process. We aim to make your experience as smooth and transparent as possible. Please browse the questions and answers below.
Can I purchase artwork I like in any size?
Most standard sizes are available, from 8"x10" (typical for B&W sketch sets), up to 13"x19" prints and 29"x20" canvas wraps. Please reach out to us in the Contact page to provide information on what item you would like to purchase at what size and we will work with you on a purchase price.
Is the artwork framed?
Limited editions, Artist's Proofs and Original prnts can be ordered with archival framing, packaged and shipped through our custom ordering process. Framed artwork requires additional materials, special handling, increased shipping cost and a brief delay to fulfil your order. An add-on price for framing, packaging and shipping artwork applies. Also, depending on different factors involved in framing any particular artwork, such as size (example, panoramic prints) or material (canvas wraps for example), we cannot guarantee framing in each and every case. Reach out to us via the Contact page on your specific need.
What if I don't like it. Can I return or exchange the artwork?
Ivan Keaye Art and Photography does not accept returns or offer refunds or exchanges on any artwork in keeping with our sales policy.
In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit, we will work with you to resolve the situation to your satisfaction.
Please note it is a Buyer's after-purchase responsibility to maintain and protect the artwork properly over time. We do not assume any responsibility for any damage caused by improper display, handling, or environmental conditions such as extreme temperature, humidity, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The Buyer acknowledges that fading or other changes may naturally occur over time.
Do I own the artwork that I've purchased?
Yes, however Ivan Keaye reserves the rights to all artwork purchased. Works are classified as open edition reproductions, Limited Editions, Artist's Proofs (A/P) and Originals. Limited editions and A/P's are accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity which stipulate retention of Artist's Rights and Copyright. Open edition reproductions retain the same rights and copyright. Originals are accompanied by Artist's Letter and any and all reproduction ceases after purchase.
Purchasers have limited rights with respect to the transfer (example, gifting) or re-sale of artwork and photographic prints in keeping with copyright and intellectual property rights stated on this website.
What is your turnaround time?
Print orders typically require 48-72 hours turnaround time once payment is received. Multiple purchase items or large format prints or special orders (example, framed prints or canvas wraps) may require additional time due to special handling and packaging requirements to guarantee safe and secure shipment. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the carrier.
What determines the number of Artist's Proofs produced?
The production run of a Limited Edition series determines the number of master Artist's Proofs that may be needed. A run of 20 prints might require just one proof, whereas runs of 50 or 100 prints might require two or three, but never more. The number of prints in a series is set before production and is never exceeded to preserve value.
